They make friends that are going through the same experiences as them and it creates a supportive environment.

Everyone should try and find their tribe, even if it isn’t fitness related. It can really be life changing.

 

Being Held Accountable

 

Part of a viable support system is accountability. Not always in the sense of bringing you down for messing you up, but more so a check in. Many of these online fitness groups will run a challenge or competition that really allows for some hardcore accountability. You have a place to post your proof of hard work and receive feedback for it. You also have a place that will pick you up to continue being accountable.
